Did you know the real name for Chilean Sea Bass is Patagonian Toothfish? A favorite among fine dining restaurants, Chilean sea bass fish is MSC sustainably certified and caught around Heard Island and the McDonald Islands in the Australian Antarctic Territory.

Surrounded by the Southern Indian Ocean where the waters are cold with winds blowing 20 – 60 mph and the waves surging between 16 – 32 feet making, fishing for Patagonian Toothfish a treacherous experience!

Glacier 51 Toothfish takes its name from the Fifty one Glacier, which is one of the largest glaciers in the Australian Antarctic and can be found flowing southwards on the south side of Heard Island.
