Scallops with Roe

These special scallops with roe from Tasmania, Australia are rich in flavor with a medium-firm texture.  Highly prized with the roe attached.

Serving Suggestions:
  • Is frozen as raw so must be thawed and cooked.
  • Cook the meat lightly as they are small sized and cook quickly. Can grill, pan-fry or barbeque with olive oil.  Then drizzle with lime juice or sprinkle with fresh lemon zest and cracked black pepper.
  • A great addition to risottos, pastas and stir-fry. Add scallops at the very end to lightly cook, so the meat remains tender.

How To Store: Keep frozen. Once thawed, keep refrigerated in an airtight container and consumer within 4 days of opening.

How to Defrost: Keep product in its packaging in the refrigerator overnight or remove outer cardboard and place in cold water until thawed. Not suitable to re-freeze.
