Smoked Salmon Pizza

Author Adapted from Regal / Al Brown

This recipe is made super easy by purchasing a store bought pizza crust but if you have a favorite home-made pizza dough recipe, it will certainly add a delicious home-made flavor

Ingredients

2 x 3.5 oz of smoked salmon
7 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
1 Tablespoon of capers
1 Tablespoon of fresh dill, or fennel fronds, torn
Cracked pepper
Sea salt
1x store bought pizza dough

Flour and Cornmeal for dusting

Instructions

1. Pre-heat oven to 450ºF

2. If your store-bought pizza dough is in a ball, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and using lightly floured hands or a rolling pin, gently flatten the dough into a round 12-inch disc. Lift the edge of the dough up to create a lip around the edges.

3. Transfer the dough to a lightly greased pizza pan or pizza stone dusted with cornmeal.

4. Spread the toppings and bake for 10-15 minutes or until pizza base is crisp.
