Manuka-Smoked Salmon Pizza

By: Adapted from Regal / Al Brown

Makes: 4 servings

Time Required: 15 - 20 mins

This recipe is made super easy by purchasing a store bought pizza crust but if you have a favorite home-made pizza dough recipe, it will certainly add a delicious home-made flavor

  1. 2 x 3.5 oz of Regal Smoked King Salmon (Manuka Wood)

  2. 7 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced

  3. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

  4. 1 tablespoon of capers

  5. 1 tablespoon of fresh dill, or fennel fronds, torn

  6. cracked pepper

  7. sea salt

  8. 1x Store bought pizza dough

  9. Flour and Cornmeal for dusting

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450ºF
  2. If your store-bought pizza dough is in a ball, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and using lightly floured hands or a rolling pin, gently flatten the dough into a round 12-inch disc.  Lift the edge of the dough up to create a lip around the edges.
  3. Transfer the dough to a lightly greased pizza pan or pizza stone dusted with cornmeal.
  4. Spread the toppings and bake for 10-15 minutes or until pizza base is crisp.
