Ocean Trout Tartare


  1. 1 – Tasmanian Ocean Trout fillet (about 2 pd), boned and skinned

  2. 4 T Yuzu juice

  3. 4T Olive Oil

  4. 2T Soy Sauce

  5. Sea Salt to taste

  6. 6 – 8 Shiso Leaves – Chiffonade then very lightly chopped

  7. Box of Rice Crackers

Chop the ocean trout into 1/4” pieces and put in bowl. Mix Yuzu, Olive Oil and Soy sauce together in a small bowl. Pour over the tartare and mix lightly. Taste. If needs a little more salt, add to taste. Mix in Shiso leaves.

Spoon tartare on top of rice crackers and serve immediately.
