Kai Gourmet is considered an essential business. We will remain open during the Los Angeles lock down.
We practice CDC safety guidelines.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are anticipating shipping delays starting June 21 to June 22nd and will NOT be shipping online orders during that time. If you have any questions please contact us directly.

Ordering and Processing Terms

Please Note: Because all our fresh fish is hand cut, weights will vary per order within half a pound.  You will be charged for the actual weight of the cut fish.

All Orders Must Be Placed Online.
We do not have a brick-and-mortar shop so we are unable to accommodate walk-ins.
Our service specializes in delivering to your door, via courier or our trucks (depending where you live).  You can also pick-up your order at our warehouse.  See time restrictions below.

Cancellation Policy:

– If order has not been processed, a full refund will be given.
– If order has been processed but not packed, a $50 fee will be applied with the refund.
– No refunds for orders that have been packed and processed.

Delivery Info:
Order by 12 midnight Sunday – Friday:

  • Most deliveries within 25 miles will be delivered next day via our trucks.
  • Deliveries within 25 – 60 miles of our facility can be delivered between 1 – 2 days depending on specific address of delivery.
  • Kai Gourmet reserves the right to decide whether to deliver via our own trucks or using a courier service.  Recipient will be alerted if order is via courier with an accompanied tracking code.

For Courier Deliveries: Expect 2 day turn around  

  • Orders placed by midnight between Sunday – Wednesday, will be packed next day and sent out for overnight delivery.
  • Orders made between Friday – Sunday will be delivered Tuesday.
  • No courier deliveries between Saturdays – Mondays

For Pick-Up / Will-call: (M-Sa)
Order by 12 midnight – Pick-up next business day:  M-F: 10a-1p, Sat: 9a-11a

*Ring doorbell at Eastern door on Grand Ave.  Someone will answer and direct you to the side of building to safely deliver your package.

  • If you are unable to pick-up during will-call hours, your order will be held until next business day.
  • Kindly Remember: Your order likely has perishable items. If picking up, please try to arrive the day your order is ready. We cannot be held responsible for orders that sit in our cooler. Every day the item(s) get older, the less chance you’ll be able to enjoy their fresh quality. Thank you for understanding.

Shipping & Delivery Terms

Southern California residents:
Greater Los Angeles area (within 60 mile radius of El Segundo) – Free shipping for orders over $125.
$15.00 shipping fee for orders under $125.00.  Orders are shipped overnight via courier.

Residents Outside Greater LA/Orange County Areas:
Within California: Orders over $250 – free shipping.
Outside California, within Continental U.S.A: Orders over $350 – free shipping.

If shipping rates apply, overnight shipping rates will vary according to address of delivery destination.

Friends and Family Membership rates:

Southern California residents:   $10 shipping for orders under the $125 threshold.  Orders are shipped overnight.

Residents Outside LA/Orange County Areas:  Overnight shipping rates are discounted with the Friends & Family membership. Discounted shipping will vary, determined upon address of delivery destination.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the quick turnaround of orders, cancellation fees do apply.

– If order has not started been processed, no cancellation fee.
– If order has been processed but not packed, a refund will be generated minus a $50 cancellation fee.
– If order has been packed, there is no refund. The full amount of the order will be charged.
