Product Details
Chilean Sea Bass may sound familiar, but its real name—Patagonian Toothfish—reveals just how extraordinary it truly is. Renowned for its rich, buttery texture and delicate, melt-in-your-mouth flavor, this fish has earned its place as a star on the menus of top restaurants around the world.
Our Glacier 51 Toothfish is sustainably wild-caught in the remote, icy waters near Heard Island and the McDonald Islands in the Australian Antarctic Territory. Battling extreme conditions—raging 60 mph winds, towering 30-foot waves, and freezing temperatures—fishermen brave these elements to bring you a fish unlike any other.
MSC-certified and responsibly sourced, Glacier 51 Toothfish boasts pristine white flesh, a tender flake, and an indulgent buttery taste that elevates any dish. Treat yourself to one of the ocean’s most luxurious catches—crafted by nature, perfected by chefs.
Each 5.3 oz portion is individually frozen with skin on.
About Glacier 51 Toothfish
Glacier 51 Toothfish (Chilean Seabass) takes its name from the Fifty-one Glacier, which is one of the largest glaciers in the Australian Antarctic and can be found flowing southwards on the south side of Heard Island. As a result of this fishery's commitment to responsible fishing practices, this product is MSC-certified sustainable.
