AngusPure Short Rib (Grass Fed, Boneless)

Also known as spare ribs, short ribs are made up of the rib bone and layers of rib meat and fat. They are rich and tasty and take on flavors well.

Our boneless beef short ribs come from New Zealand's AngusPure Special Reserve brand of 100% grass fed cattle, farmed in the vast open landscapes of the South Island. They are produced without antibiotics or hormones, aged for 28 days, and like all AngusPure beef are Halal certified.

One of our favorite ways too cook these short ribs are by braising. Recipes for braised short ribs abound, but basically you brown or sear the ribs at a high temp then cook them in liquid in the oven or a crockpot at a low temp for a few hours. You can throw in pearl onions, carrots, or new potatoes and serve it all like a stew, or you can plate the finished ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, risotto, or a wide pasta pappardelle.
