Hamachi / Yellowtail (Frozen)

Hamachi (yellowtail) is one of the most popular items on a sushi menu! Loved for its clean, buttery flavor, and fatty texture - use for sashimi, crudo or your favorite sushi rolls. 

This product is super frozen and vacuum packed in Japan, ensuring its premium sashimi grade quality. Each portion is 1.25-1.75lbs and cost is based on the average weight.

Tip: This selection can be portioned in a mostly frozen state with minimal effort and no adverse effect to quality. Let thaw just barely - enough to run a very sharp knife through the fish - and portion what you want. Whatever you don't plan to eat at that point, rewrap tightly in several layers of plastic wrap and store in coldest part of freezer.
