Shipping Info
Our online store is geared toward residential customers and independent chefs. If you are a wholesale customer (i.e. restaurant, grocer, distributor), please contact your Kai Gourmet sales rep or send an inquiry to info@kaigourmet.com.
Please note that because most of our fresh fish and gourmet meats are hand cut, weights may vary per order! We make every effort to keep the weight variance within the weight shown on the product page.
Online orders must be placed through our website. We do not have a brick and mortar market.
Local Pick Up in El Segundo
- $25 minimum order
- Orders placed by midnight Sunday-Friday will be ready for pick up the next available day (Monday-Saturday) unless a future delivery date is selected at checkout. We will notify you when your order is ready.
- Pick-up hours: Monday-Friday 9AM-2PM and Saturday 8AM-11AM
- Ring the doorbell at Eastern door on Grand Ave. Someone will answer and assist you in getting your package If you are unable to pick up during our will-call hours, your order will be held until next business day. After one day, we will dispose of the order unless we hear from you. We’re sorry, there are no refunds once orders have been packed and processed. See our Cancellation Policy for more info. Local Ground Delivery
- $25 minimum order
- Local ground delivery applies to zip codes within 30 miles of our location
- Orders placed by midnight Sunday-Friday will be processed and delivered the next available day (Monday-Saturday)
- Local deliveries are made via our own trucks, or Uber Direct
Overnight Delivery via FedEx
- $50 minimum order
- For zip codes outside of our local range, we ship overnight Monday-Friday for next day delivery Tuesday-Saturday.*
- *Saturday delivery is available to most non-rural areas for an extra fee.
- Orders placed by midnight will be processed and shipped the next available day for delivery the following day, unless an advanced delivery date is selected. You will receive a tracking number when your order ships.
- All FedEx orders ship Priority Overnight with the intention of delivery within 24 hours, however in some cases your order may deliver within 48 hours due to FedEx delays. We consider this normal operating procedure because we do not have control over air traffic, weather, or other delays. This in mind, our insulated boxes are packed with gel ice and/or dry ice to withstand a 48-hour transit.
- With consideration for possible delays, we strongly recommend that you select a delivery date at least one day ahead of any major event / special occasion.
Shipping Charges
- After all discounts are applied, if your final order falls below the minimum requirement for free shipping, we will charge the fixed shipping rate depending on what zone the order is being delivered to.
- Exceptions to shipping charges can apply if it is the fault of Kai Gourmet. i.e. order can’t be filled due to unavailability of item, etc. In this case, we'll honor the original order amount to determine the shipping cost.
Southern California Residents Shipping Rates:
Free shipping for orders over $150 in Southern California. Otherwise:
Residents within a 10-mile radius of Kai Gourmet = $20 shipping fee
Residents within the rest of SoCal = $35 shipping fee
