From a recipe that remains unchanged for over six decades, Cambridge House Royal® is the world’s most distinctive and charismatic smoked salmon. Starting with the highest quality fresh Atlantic salmon, the fillets are cured with pure sea salt and fresh herbs then smoked in small batches using local fallen oak logs and apple wood from the Santa Ynez Valley. This local area is home to some of the worlds finest vineyards and for that reason Cambridge House also selects and burns aged oak chardonnay barrels which completes this very unique recipe. The salmon is then fully trimmed by hand to remove all dark meat, sliced paper thin, and vacuum packed fresh.

With its rich buttery texture and robust smoke flavor, this smoked salmon is Cambridge House's original flagship recipe and remains so unique in flavor that although it is often imitated all over the world, it cannot be copied or equaled.

For optimum flavor and texture, remove a portion to be served from the refrigerator and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. Serve on its own with freshly squeezed lemon juice and cracked black pepper, or with bagels and cream cheese. For the ultimate indulgence pair with some Calvisius caviar or salmon roe!
